Tauranga at Ogilvies Bridge


Site Info:
The Tauranga River at Ogilvies water level and rainfall recorder is situated in the Tauranga catchment (formerly known as Waimana), some 30 km upstream of the Waimana township.

The site was first established in February1968 and operated until April 1996 at which time the sites was closed and replaced by the Tauranga at Ranger Station site which was situated approximately 5 km downstream.    

The site was reopened in June 2016 to measure river level and flow, with a raingauge added in February 2017.
